Adult Resource Centre (ARC)
We recently provided taster activities to ARC service users. Staff and Volunteers provided activities such as
- Nintendo Wii session
- Arts and Crafts
- Chair Aerobics
- Handwashing Hygiene
- Fruit Kebabs
Everyone enjoyed the sessions and Staff and Volunteers received a free massage treatment from a service user.
Village Pride
The Village Pride has received funding from various external bodies to ensure local improvements will be made within the communities of Kelloholm and Kirkconnel. Some improvements have been implemented with the removal of graffiti from prominent buildings and signs. Funding will also provide training for Volunteers in First Aid, CPR, COSHH and Graffiti Removal. Regular community litter picks are arranged and poster displayed throughout the community with dates. Village Pride meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month in The Cabin at 7pm. If you are interested in becoming involved please contact 01659 67701.
